    Sentieri che attreversano la zona delle strade dell'Assietta

    DUE VALLI UN SENTIERO
    La creazione di questo sentiero è nata dall'esigenza di unire e valorizzare le rilevanze ambientali e culturali delle Valli Chisone e Germansca.
    Il percorso punta ad offrire la fruizione di antichi sentieri e vie di comunicazione evocando tradizioni e stili di vita, la struttura ad anello unisce la maggior parte dei comuni presenti nelle Valli Chisone e Germanasca, creando una rete facilmente  adattabile alle esigenze dei diversi escursionisti: dai meno impegnativi sentieri di fondovalle ai più impegnativi che conducono in quota a fruire delle tipiche flora e fauna alpine.

    2° tappa: PEROSA ARGENTINA - USSEAUX

    Perosa Argentina (620m) - Briere (730m) - Jartousi��re (693m) - Grange (780m) - Lageard (750m) - Saret del Campo (2074m) - Puy (1614m) - Pequerel (1700m) - Usseaux (1420m)

    Sentiero del Plaisentif

    Il sentiero balcone collega le borgate del versante sinistro orografico dell'Alta Val Chisone, da Chezal, nel comune di Pragelato, a Gran Faetto, nel Comune di Roure. Il sentiero è caratterizzato dalla presenza di alpeggi dove viene prodotto, nei mesi di giugno e luglio, l'antico formaggio "Plaisentif" il formaggio delle viole, con stagionatura di almeno 80 giorni, che viene marchiato e commercializzato a partire dalla terza domenica di settembre in occasione della festa di Poggio Oddone a Perosa Argentina.

    La via Alpina

    Le Alpi uniscono otto Paesi d'Europa e sono una delle principali destinazioni turistiche del mondo, che rende possibile l'incontro con la storia, la cultura e lo stile di vita  che si possono condividere attraverso unì importante rete di sentieri escursionistici di vario livello.
    Su iniziativa all' associazione francese "La Grande Traversèe des Alpes", gli otto Paesi coinvolti hanno lavorato alla realizzazione della "Via Alpina", itinerario escursionistico pedestre, che collega Trieste, sulla costa Adriatica, a Monaco e al meditettaneo.

    IL PERCORSO IN ALTA VAL CHISONE

    Usseaux (Gran Serin) (2640m) - Colle Assietta (2472m) - Usseaux (1416m) - Laux (1350m) - Colle Albergian (2713m) -

    D38 - RIFUGIO D.ARLAUD - USSEAUX

    Dal rifugio Arlaud si prosegue per la strada sterrata che conduce attraverso prati e radi pini alla Testa dell'Assietta. La mulattiera ampia e agevole percorre un tratto pressochè pianeggiante sino al Colle dell'Assietta, dal quale comincia a scendere un sentiero che diventa nuovamente mulattiera a Balboutet e prosegue agevolmente sino ad Usseaux.

    D39 - USSEAUX - BALSIGLIA

    Uscendo da Usseaux si percorre una strada che conduce sino al laghetto del Laux. Mantenendo la sinistra orografica del torrente il sentiero raggiunge il Colle dell'Albergian. Si scende quindi alle cascate del Pis, per poi continuare fino alla borgata Clot del Mian, attraversare il torrente e giungere a Balsiglia.


    IL PERCORSO IN VAL DI SUSA

    L'itinerario blu, dal Vallese svizzero alle Alpi Marittime, percorre, in territorio piemontese, un ampio tratto della Grande Traversata delle Alpi. Nel territorio del Parco Naturale del Gran Bosco di Salbertrand, la Via Alpina prevede due tappe:

    D37: DAL RIFUGIO LEVI MOLINARI

    Il sentiero sale al colle Chabriere da dove si scende fino alla strada asfaltata che si abbandona nei pressi di Eclause. Si raggiunge Salbertrand, si attraversa il Fiume Dora e si prende il sentiero GTA che percorre i boschi fino al rifugio Arlaud (posto tappa).

    D38: Dal Rifugio Daniele Arlaud

    Si prosegue per la GTA che conduce attraverso prati e radi pini alla Testa dell'Assietta. La mulattiera ampia e agevole percorre un tratto pressochè pianeggiante sino al Colle dell'Assietta, dal quale comincia a scendere un sentiero che diventa nuovamente mulattiera a Balboutet e prosegue agevolmente sino ad Usseaux.

    La grande traversata delle Alpi (GTA)

    Nacque alla fine degli anni settanta da un Comitato promotore con sede a Torino, che ispiratosi all'esperienza francese de "La Grande Traversée del Alpes", attraverso un sistema escursionistico articolato su una rete di sentieri e di posti tappa ha rilevato un itinerario di circa 1000 km che permette la traversata alpina dalla Valle Tanaro fino all'Ossola.
    Ogni tappa della G.T.A. comporta dalle cinque alle otto ore di marcia, di norma su mulattiere e facili sentieri, puntualmente segnalati, che permettono di passare di valle in valle valicando i passi più accessibili.

    IL PERCORSO IN ALTA VAL CHISONE

    Il percorso della G.T.A. ricalca quello della Via Alpina fino a Ghigo di Prali dove i due percorsi si separano.

    Glorioso rimpatrio dei valdesi

    Il 17 agosto 1689 mille uomini partirono da Ginevra per ritornare a Bobbio Pellice - da cui due anni prima furono cacciati per motivi religiosi e passando attraverso Pragelato, Massello, Salza e Prali
    Il "Glorioso Rimpatrio dei Valdesi", nel tratto italiano, è un percorso intervallivo di montagna, tra i 2500 e gli 800 m. di quota, che rievoca un cammino di "fuga e guerriglia" dei Valdesi inseguiti dagli eserciti francese e piemontese.
    I tappa da Col Clapier verso Salbertrand.
    II tappa dal Gran Bosco di Salbertrand fino a Pragelato Grange, si inerpica su un dislivello di 1500 m, il più rilevante  di tutto il percorso.
    III tappa da Pragelato Pattemouche fino a Balziglia (sede del museo valdese e foresteria).
